Prostate gland is present in male reproductive system, located in between the  bladder and penis. It is the walnut shaped organ, the prostate helps make semen, which carries sperm from the testicles when a man ejaculates.

    Prostatitis  is most common problem that can affect men of all ages. it is a painful inflammation (or) infection of the prostate gland . prostatitis complaints  mostly occur in young and  middle aged men.

Types of prostration:
  •      Acute bacterial prostration – inflammation of prostate gland caused by bacteria such Escherichia coli and kielbasi
  •        Chronic bacterial prostration- recurrent infection and inflammation of the  urinary track
  •           Non bacterial prostration- inflammation of prostate gland without bacteria
  •            Prostration- this ailment also called as chronic pelvic syndrome.

Prostate gland enlargement:

 Prostate gland is usually enlarged to start after reaches 40 years of age in man. This condition is called benign  prostatic hyperglycemia (BPH). The prostate gland secrete the  fluid  that helps to nourish the sperm. It is started having  problems with urinating, the reason could be enlargement of prostate. In this condition block the urine flow  of urine through  the urethra. The prostate cells gradually multiply, creating an enlargement that puts pressure on the urethra -- the "chute" through which urine and semen exit the body.
